BillConverter is a UK-based tool built and operated independently. When you upload a utility bill PDF, the file is processed entirely in memory to extract your billing data and generate your Excel file. We do not store, retain, or share your uploaded files or any personal data extracted from them - everything is discarded immediately after your download is complete. If you create an account, we store only your email address and a securely hashed password, which are never sold or shared with third parties. To enforce our free monthly usage limit, we record a one-way hashed fingerprint of guest visitors' IP addresses. This hash cannot be reversed or linked to any individual and is not shared with any third party. Payments are processed securely by Stripe - we never see or store your card details. We retain account data (email address and hashed password) for as long as your account is active. Conversion logs are retained for 90 days for security and debugging purposes, after which they are automatically deleted. Hashed IP usage records are reset monthly as part of the free tier limit calculation. If you would like your account and all associated data permanently deleted, contact us at support@billconverter.co.uk and we will action it within 30 days.
